Why WhizKids?
WhizKids IT began in 2007 when Nick Hess, CEO, realized there were not enough cost-effective solutions out there for small to medium-sized business. An IT professional for many years, Nick constantly had to repair damage from managed services groups that did not provide qualified technicians for their companies.

WhizKids IT Services was in high demand almost immediately upon opening its doors, taking on clients such as Cost Technology, Quizno's, Preece and Floberg, and more. Many clients loved the dedicated service and college-educated technicians, and told WhizKids that they wished they had the same option at home.
It soon became apparent that managed services were not the only area of computer maintenance and repair that needed more cost-effective solutions. Residentially, clients having difficulties with their computers had very few places to turn, and oftentimes ended up finding out they would pay almost as much to fix the computer as they would to replace it. Nick saw a real need for a better solution, and SmartLab Computer Repair was born. With its policy of $59.00, any problem, it was an instant hit within the community.

In 2008 WhizKids, partnered with DataTech to provide the best in data recovery solutions for the residential or business client. DataTech is one of the premier Data Recovery firms in the United States. WhizKids has also grown to provide many services designed to give businesses one place for all of their IT needs.
Late last year saw the birth of WK Design, the next step in Nick's vision. WK Design provides professional marketing services including website design at prices even small businesses can afford, without a loss in the quality of the finished product.
The mission of WhizKids, LLC and its partner companies is to provide economical quality service in the community for every area of IT, whether home or office. We maintain a sustainable office environment, and our goals include finding new ways to help the community and the environment we live in. Since its inception, the company has gone on to help many clients to integrate, repair, and maintain their systems.
